Description
We hebben nu al bijna 3 dagen achtereen geen verbinding via Wireless Leiden.
De gasten op onze camping zijn bepaald vertoornd.

Achtergrond: Issue waarbij verkeer tussen de node met static
IP adress en Ziggo modem met firmware 9.9.6004 lijkt te stoppen na een
variabele tijd.
Ping truc gaat niet altijd goed, alleen als interface op DHCP staat?
Dit lijkt me juiste 'workaround' voor de statische IP addressen:
sysctl net.link.ether.inet.max_age=30
Die MAC cache van die Ubee modem op firmware 9.9.6004 is echt niet
lekker meer. Na 30 seconden lijkt het een MAC te vergeten en dan gaat de
modem niet zelf actief pollen om het MAC opnieuw te achterhalen, door de
MAC cache erg kort te zetten op de node, zal er regelmatig een ARP
request/reply komen en is de modem ook weer gelukkig.
Hopen dat de Ziggo snel weer een nieuwe firmware versie naar de modems
pushed om het te fixen.
Regel in /conf/base/etc/sysctl.conf stoppen om het permanent na een
reboot te maken.
Lijkt te werken.

HybridRustdam2 heeft geen internetverbinding via de ziggo. Geen DNS, geen ping naar 8.8.8.8, alle daemons draaien en geen interessante boodschappen in /var/log/messages.
Uptime 292 dagen. Reboot. Lijkt weer te werken.
