Description ¶
There have been important changes to the interface configuration file rc.node.local (wlan0 and ipv4_address). When updating the node software (writing _.disk.image to e.g. slice 2) a reboot will work because ifconfig type configuration still works for the interfaces. The configuration-files on slice 3 (/cfg) can subsequently be updated by running wl-config on the node, if internet connection is available.
However, reversing to the 7.2 version results in not-working interlinks (no ips configured) and no working ap. So the node is no longer reachable!
Possible solution: use rc.conf.local in version 8.0 instead of rc.node.local aka the proxy setup.
