Status: newclosed

DNX is nice for monitoring clusters to have some load balancing...but it is not possible to have a multiple views of the network.

Best we could use a distributed nagios setup with one master and multiple slaves
The nagios config can be generated with knowledge of the viewpoint of the location of the master/slave monitor.
There is a working proof of concept in the exodus development tree

the master can detect the real state of the host status by the passive state translation.
