    22There are several ways to collect data which can be used for the heatmap application. Right now, Kismet's 'netxml' and 'gpsxml' are supported, as is Droidstumbler's csv output.

    4 Data can be gathered using smartphones with gps or a notebook/netbook with gps dongle. An example is the use of an EeePC with a Garmin Etrex. Software used: Ubuntu with gpsd and kismet.
