On Saturday April 7, 2012 three volunteers of Wireless Leiden have built a node - on request - on the island of the sea scouts ("zeeverkenners") opposite the "Boterhuismolen" at the Zijlweg, near the "Joppe".
Because thee island has some high trees on it, the sea scouts have first erected an 8 meters high mast to attach the antennas of Wireless Leiden to, at such a heigt that there is no interference of the wifi signals from the trees.
The project hass been ccompleted successfully. To finish a few details we will soon go back once more to the island.
