Internet in Hooglandse kerk, Pieterskerk and Stadhuis (Town Hall)

Volunteers of Wireless Leiden have made a wireless access point in the Hooglandse kerk, for the benefit of the users of that church.

as you may know, on the Hooglandse kerk Wireless Leiden already has a node (CeTIM) with four access points, but they do not reach the interior of the church sufficient to connect there well.

This has been repaired by this new access point,directed to the center of the church.

The Hooglandse kerk is visited by many people, especially during the Summer months, and also events are being held there. Wireless Leiden has therefore be asked if Internet could also be made available in the church.

We were able to comply with this request.

Also in the Pieterskerk Wireless Leiden has made a wireless access point, some time ago already.

And in the Town Hall (Stadhuis) it is already possible for some time to use the Internet through the network of Wireless Leiden.
