Tests for more bandwith and improved reliability started by Hogeschool Leiden

testopstelling wireless bridge bij Hogeschool Leiden

Tim Baas, final year student at Hogeschool Leiden has started comparative test of commercially available 'wireless-ethernet-bridges'. This type of equipment will be used by Wireless Leiden in a new configuration of the network. This will allow higher bandwith and more reliabel connections.

Nice donation by one of our users

Wireless Leiden recently carried out extensive measurements at the home of one of the users of our network.
He had an unsatisfying reception of our signals and can hopefully improve this now.
Although no obligation exists to do so, this content user donated € 50 for our time and work, for which we are grateful!

Wireless Leiden is the guest of LivingLab

On Friday October 9, 2009 the foundation LivingLab has rented a room in the  "Nieuwe Energie" building.

Wireless Leiden will be allowed to use this room, among other things for the weekly walk-in consultancy.

As soon as the room has been properly decorated and terms have been agreed upon the use in the evenings, the walk-in consultancy can be moved back to the evening.

Keep in touch with this site to see when the necessary appointments have been made.
