Development of new node software: testing on live nodes

We have been developing new node software, implementing various operational improvements compared to the present situation. This development has now reached the phase 
where we have to test the new configuration on 'live' nodes. Initially these tests will be carried out
on four nodes:- NodeHuub, NodeJoost, NodeZwet and NodeDuivenhok. 
Of course not everything will work perfectly out of the box, so users may expect problems with connections and / or the internet connection.
(possibly also at other nodes).

We are online again

After a week of downtime (hardware failure) are all services at http://www.wirelessleiden.nl and services like subversion, email mailinglists back online.

We could you use some more help in making the setup more robust, so any good hardware, donations, locations, network are welcome!

The 'July' news letter of the FreeDiscovery project has been published (in Dutch).

Wireless Leiden no longer at Langebrug 56A

Regrettably we had to leave the Langebrug location, that was temporarily made available by the City of Leiden. Fortunately we will be able to share space at  'Nieuwe Energie', with ROC Leiden, Hogeschool Leiden and the Living Lab Foundation by September 1st.
