On Wednesday 17th December Tim Baas, final year student of Hogeschool Leiden will give a presentation about his project. He is developing a prototype of the new node configuration called "IRIS". IRIS stands for Independent Radio Interface System: the radio part of the node is separated form the base nodemachine. This provides for more flexibility and enables the use of all kinds of radio interfaces. Tim has tested a.o. commercially available interlink boxes for 802.11a.
