During the past there have been contacts several times between the gardening ("volkstuinen") complex "Ons Buiten" and Wireless Leiden. For several technical and non-technical reasons these contacts never have resulted in a working Internet connection for "Ons Buiten".
However, in the last quarter of 2015 new contacts (through the walk-in consultancy) have resulted in Internet for a major part of "Ons Buiten".
A connection has been made between the complex and the node on the Luba-tower (node SOM) of Wireless Leiden. With the help of repeaters the signal has been spread over "Ons Buiten".
At the same time the node on the Luba tower has received an upgrade. In this way a long existing wish has been realized at last in 2015!
